TIRAMISU

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 7 cups milk
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar OR ½ cup sugar and ½ cup condensed milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Powdered cinnamon
  • Cloves

Recipe

  • Rinse the rice in a pot until the water runs clear. Drain. 
  • Combine the rice and water in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently, for 7 minutes, until the rice begins to soften and the water is consumed.
  • Add the milk and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. 
  • Add the sugar and cook for 30 minutes. Add the salt and cook a few minutes more, stirring frequently. Add the cloves. 
  • Take off the stove and divide the rice into containers, dusting the top with cinnamon.
