TIRAMISU
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- 7 cups milk
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar OR ½ cup sugar and ½ cup condensed milk
- ½ tsp salt
- Powdered cinnamon
- Cloves
Recipe
- Rinse the rice in a pot until the water runs clear. Drain.
- Combine the rice and water in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently, for 7 minutes, until the rice begins to soften and the water is consumed.
- Add the milk and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add the sugar and cook for 30 minutes. Add the salt and cook a few minutes more, stirring frequently. Add the cloves.
- Take off the stove and divide the rice into containers, dusting the top with cinnamon.
