Ingredients
- 2 ripe plantains (soft with many black spots)
- 2 quarts cooking oil
- Salt

- Heat up cooking oil to medium high heat in large pan. To test heat, throw a small piece of plantain inside, it is ready when plantain starts frying.
- Cut plantains into rounds about 4 cm thick and fry until they turn golden brown.
- Let plantains drain excess oil over paper towels. Lightly salt to taste.
